THREE Muslim groomers are back on the streets of Rochdale after preying on girls as young as 12 - thanks to failures by the Home Office.

The four men who should have been deported are Shabir Ahmed, 66, Qari Abdul Rauf, 50, Abdul Aziz, 48 and Adil Khan, 49 who were all convicted of grooming in 2012. Three of these men have been spotted on the streets of the town in which they preyed on young girls and forced them into prostitution.

The grooming gangs ringleader, Shabir 'Daddy' Ahmed is still in prison serving part of a 22-year-sentence for rape.

The men, who have UK-Pakistani citizenship but have failed to be deported from Britain thanks to the Home Office failing to deport them, despite having the authority to do so in a recent court ruling in July 2018.

MAY'S LEGACY

Prime Minister Theresa May and Home Secretary Sajid Javid - currently vying to be Britain's next Prime Minister have the power to remove these men from the UK, as seen in the case of Shamima Begum who had her citizenship removed after joining ISIS.

In 2016 Theresa May agreed that it would be "conducive to the public good" to kick out the sick groomers, but this has still not happened.

The men fought a legal battle costing millions to the British taxpayer, but eventually lost in July 2018 - yet they are still in the UK and back on the streets of Rochdale.

VICTIMS 'BUMPED INTO' ABUSERS

Victims of the groomers have even seen their attackers in the streets of Rochdale.

The Sun reported that one girl who was abused 'wet herself' and ran into a shop after she saw her attacker in Rochdale town centre, and another victim saw her attacker in a nightclub just last week.

Sajid Javid's Home Office refused to comment on the decision to deport the four groomers.

A Home Office representative said: "We do not routinely comment on individual cases."

Maggie Oliver - one of the key detectives in the case who resigned from Greater Manchester Police said: "It doesn't surprise me they won't be straight with their answers after all this time because they don't want a public backlash."

"Ultimately, the truth does have a way of coming out. The process most of these girls have been through has led them to expect very, very little from the authorities."

"They expect nothing and are not disappointed. They have been failed again and again and again."

"They do see some of these men around Rochdale on a fairly regular basis."

"It is really distressing for them, there's nothing that the girls can do. It's actually disgraceful."

EXPLANATION DEMANDED

Campaigner Billy Howarth of Parents Against Grooming said: "We demand an explanation as to why they have not been deported.

"That was one of the promises, that these men would be removed from the country so they would not have to set eyes on them again.

"People are going mad over it, especially the people who live on the same streets with them."
