For those who followed LGB stuff since, the 90's. Getting you'r stripes referred to being open to yourself and, understanding. while coming to terms with not being heterosexual. For a long time earning your strips. At least to kids ment. Just gettings tiger strips. But, after Tony the tiger fans did rather tame art. Just Origional characters Kissing him.

An used Tony as a means to insult the very people who helped keep him and, Kellogg's income the highest.
