Luxury watch brand A. Lange & Söhne unveiled its first self-winding chronograph timepiece, the Odysseus Chronograph, at the Watches & Wonders in Geneva. Anthony de Haas, the director of product development at A. Lange & Söhne said: “The Odysseus Chronograph transports the contemporary and one-of-a-kind design of the watch family to a new technical dimension.”
The standout feature of the stainless steel Odysseus Chronograph is its new L156.1 self-winding movement. It was made with a skeletonized and unidirectional winding central rotor constructed in black rhodium. It also contains a mixture of a sporty and classy design with a customized caliber L155.1 DATOMATIC. The timepiece is also capable of a power reserve of 50 hours and a beating frequency of 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour. The timepiece is available for purchase.
