Hello guys, IT'S OVER! Yeah It's over!!! Oh my god! I can't believe it finally ended. Okay okay, let's be serious. I am too happy that my term test finished last Thursday! (I know that it's weird to be that much happy after a Term Test cuz I haven't finished my finals yet). I didn't even have time to breathe in the middle of the whole lots of books but now, I have thrown them to a corner but I will have to take them back within the next month. Or less than that. But anyways, no more exams till November.
To be honest, I got some study leaves from 2 days before the exam and stayed at home studying the whole day sitting on my chair with an open book with lessons and pages I've never seen in my whole life. Everything I had left to study later were to be studied within a very little time. I almost didn't have time to eat properly.
And the next thing is I didn't know the exam time table. I just knew that Buddhism and Japanese exam are on 11th Wednesday. I didn't know what's on Thursday, Friday and on the other days. Then I messaged a friend and asked her for the time table. Then she sent me the subjects on the first three days; from Wednesday to Friday. The subjects Buddhism, Japanese, Science and Maths were on those three days but I didn't remember whether on Thursday or on Friday was Science because I had deleted the message I received from my friend.
Anyway, I went for the exam on Wednesday and as I was informed, Buddhism and Japanese were on that day. The Buddhism paper was pretty easy and also the Japanese paper. But the only problem with the Japanese paper was that there was a question asking us to write the answers in Japanese Hiragana. I didn't think that those things would come so I almost wrote big lies. (I will share a photo of the Japanese paper later)
Then I thought that Science will be on Thursday. There was no time left for me to ask any other classmates what's on Thursday cuz the exam ended at 2.00 PM and normally school ends at 1.30 PM and my school bus is leaving at about 1.45 PM. And as I had already finished the Japanese paper, I gave it to the examiner and walked for the bus with one of my classmates.
Then I told her "Oh god! Today evening I will have to Science"
Then she asked "aren't you gonna do some math?"
"why should I? Math is on day after tomorrow and I've got lots of Science left to study for tomorrow's exam."
"Are you crazy? Science is on Friday and tomorrow's Math"
And that's how I am. When I was back at home, I messaged some other friends to make sure that math is on Thursday. Then they told me that Math is on Thursday.
Then I took my math books and started to go through all kinds of problems. I almost cried when I was unable to do many problems and I had to take sis's help and sometimes, she could not help cuz I couldn't understand what she taught me. Then I found the website, Mathway. It was fun to enter my problems and it gave me the answers. Then when I was at the tail end of the syllabus, the lights went out and the time was almost past 11.30 PM. But the lastest lessons were the ones I don't know. Then there was nothing to do so I went to bed asking dad to wake me up at 4.00 AM so I could go through those lessons.
"Chamu Chamu, wake up! It's almost 5.00AM!" Dad told me in a hurry.
"What? No way! Why didn't you wake me up earlier? There are lots to do." I said jumping off the bed.
"The alarm didn't ring. We all fell asleep"
That was what happened to me on Thursday morning. I've got to leave at 6.00 AM and there was no time for me to go through the other lessons. I asked sis to teach me some and those things were very useful in the exam.
Anyway, I sat on my desk at the exam hall and the paper was given. There are two parts as Part A and Part B. There are 6 questions each and I have to choose 5 from each.
I read the 1st question and that was about interest rates and stuff. Though I read it a multiple times, I couldn't understand what it said cuz I was too hurried. Then I moved on to the next question and it was related to graphs. I drew the graph and went to the next sub questions in that question. I was able to solve some and went to the next. It was related to equations but I couldn't solve it too. Then the next was about product of two favtors but I couldn't do it too. The next was about fx tables and I haven't gone through those things so I skipped it. Then the last was about volume. I did not remember how to solve them. When I took a look at my answer sheet, I almost cried. Tears came to my eyes and I wiped them off before anyone noticed that I was crying. I felt so bad that I wanted to tear the paper. Everyone else were writing writing writing answers but I was weeping weeping weeping my tears.
Then I moved to Part B and the first oe was distance-time graphs and I tried to answer them and I answered the ones that I could and moved to the next question. It was logarithms and I did it. The next one was construction and I did it as I could. The next two was geometry and they were some kinda easy. The last was Sets and I did it and cut the answers of the first question because I only have to answer 5 and I had answered 6.
Then again I took a look at the Part A questions and after I read the first question slowly, I was able to solve it. Then I moved to the next and solved the remaining questions. The third one was simultaneous equations and I didn't remember how to solve them with no equal values. I struggled a lot with that one and finally, I decided to do a foolish thing that came to my mind and thanks god, it wasn't a foolish thing, it was the exact way of solving that. Then in the product of two factors question, I solved solved solved but was never able to get a correct answer. The last thing in that question was to find the value of x and as came to my mind, I substituted 5 to x. That was right! The value of x is and should be 5. When I was solving the last question of the volume question, the examiner collected the papers and anyway I did all the questions.
The Science paper which was on Friday was neither easy nor hard but I don't have much hopes on getting high marks for science this time. But who knows, luck may turn to my side :D
I still didn't have a proper time table of the exam and I asked my friends what's on Monday and they told me that English and ICT is on Monday. Then I studied the whole weekend and went to the exam on Monday.
The English paper was easy as usual but there were some questions which I am not sure of. After the english paper, we were given the ICT paper and I went on with the 1st one and that was pretty easy. The whole paper was a piece of cake but I was lacking time. So I did them in a hurry but I'm not very sure whether I did the calculations correct.
I thought that English literature is on Tuesday but when I asked, my friends told me that Literature is on Wednesday and Sinhala is on Tuesday.
Though Sinhala is my native language, it is one of the hardest subjects especially for me. We also have to write 3 literary comments regarding the lessons in our textbook. I started the Sinhala literature paper in a hurry cuz most of the time, we don't have much time to write the comments. My best friend didn't have time to write almost a whole comment last term test. In the middle of my first comment, my pen was over (the ink as over). Then I asked the one who was sitting next to me for a pen and she gave me an extra pen she had with her.
The next day, I had English literature and I started it in a hurry cuz I have to write 4 literary comments and some context questions within 3 hours. The paper was easy and there were some moments which I wrote lies when I had nothing to write.
Then on the last day, we had history and the paper was easy. Normally I write more than 12 pages but this time I only used 8 pages. I felt like it wasn't enough but there was nothing left to add.
When the history paper was taken, we were set free from our cages and we all became free birds.

Look forward for my results.
I will start to write ulogs soon.
And one more thing;
Did you hear about the Teen community me, @mashiliyanage and @justaboutart are working on?
We created the #tos tag which stands for Teens On Steem
So that we can make Steemit a better place for teenagers.
So if you are a teenager, you can also use this tag.

Thanks a bunch for stopping by
Until we meet again ❤
I can see that you are very happy to be done with your exams! I like how you described it as being out of a cage like a free bird. :)
I hope you did well on the exams. It seems like math was hard but you figured out how to answer the questions when you looked at some a second time.
I like the way you told us about your exams, it was fun to read. The gifs are funny and really added to your article. Great job!!! :)
