Hey petrol-heads :)
I want to share with you my negative experience with injury which happened in US in 2014. I went there for my holidays to visit my brother and to have few track-days together. I use to rode CBR 1000RR 04 on the roads. Here are few old videos if you are interested :)
I can safely say, that we were doing a proper and very dangerous "road racing" and it ended up, that I decided to sell my bike as the limits were being pushed further and further and I had a feeling, that this might end up very bad.
However, the addiction to the adrenaline will stay in your DNA forever and that was the reason why I decided to do few track days with my brother (who already had a track days bike) during my visit in US.
I've bought is old CBR 600 RR 04 and I called it Frankenstein for obvious reasons :D
I've enjoyed the first day very well and the experience to be on a bike after 4 years break and be allowed to go "full throttle" was awesome. Here is my video of the last ride of the first day... I think I was doing very well and I was assigned to the Blue group for the next day:
However... here comes the "catch" :) I was use to from my road riding, that the tires were warmed up before I went full retard on the roads and this caused my crash... even it happened during the warm-up lap and i was very moderate with the gas, it seems that the lean angle, the amount of gas and cold tires didnt work well... here, ejoy few pictures from the crash:
leeegs :D
and this is me, already knowing that something went wrong with my hand. I didnt passed out after the crash, but there were few seconds where I was very close to that... not because of my hand, or by looking at my hand, but from the fucking spinning around :D
The rest of the story + the injury will continue in Part 2.
