Well, DO NOT FUCKING TRADE. As soon as you hear technical analysis, buy low sell high and all this crap, tell yourself: This is a NOOB!
Look, I am a professional money manager. I work in the field, I talk to investors, CEO, analysts, traders all day long… I have read more than 100 books on Finance, valuations, trading, Warren Buffett… you name it.
What I learned is simple, if you trade, you might make money in the short term but you will DEFINITELY lose money in the long term.
When I first started in finance, I used to love trading, thinking I could see patterns no one else could see. I made a little bit of money, until I DIDN’T!
The more I read about the stock market, the more I realized that to make money, you need to buy the good companies at normal prices. You hold them and you let these companies grow. They are amazing companies, with amazing managements, they will succeed and you will make money. They might have hiccups at some point, but they are such good companies, they will overcome them.
You job is to see the big picture, to understand the trends in the world and the risks of what you are buying.
Same logic applies to cryptos. Buy the amazing ones. (For me its OMG).
Don’t trade the news, don’t look at charts, be ready to accept volatility because it doesn’t matter at all.
If you are reading this article, then I bet my ass you see a bright future for cryptos same as me. You see the potential of this technology, the amazing opportunities it provides. It is not a 25% change in price that is going to change any of that.
Pandora’s box is open, no government can stop the technological advancement anymore. If one country stops them, another country will jump in. From now on, there will be many news about cryptos. That is natural, this is the future. Everyone will have something to say about it.
Just ignore it! Focus on finding the best ideas, the best management, the best technologies and disregard the news.
Nothing can stop cryptos my friends, no government, no country. Cryptos are here to stay and they will continue growing.
Don’t fear the short term. Have faith in the possibilities.
