I have no doubt that Trade.io has remained one of the most preferred cryptocurrency exchange platforms among crypto traders and investors. From my own experience, it has been awesome. Trade.io has been listing new cryptocurrencies recently and bringing up amazing updates to their exchange platform. The latest listing was announced through the official Twitter account of Trade.io and the cryptocurrencies to be listed are Ripple (XRP), Tron (TRX), IOTA (MIOTA), SnowGem (XSG). We looked at the processes of creating an account in the first post and briefly looked at the features of Trade.io (you can refer to the first post). Here, we will be looking at the description of the cryptocurrencies to be listed by Trade.io
1. RIPPLE (XRP)
Ripple (XRP) is a cryptocurrency created to provide a means to send money frictionlessly across the globe with a very fast confirmation time of transaction. Ripple came to solve one of the inherent problems of bank transfers which is "speed" and has provided global accessibility and super fast network to achieve this. Ripple provides a platform (known as RippleNet) in which payment providers are connected with banks to send and receive currencies worldwide.
Ripple (XRP) currently occupies rank 3 on CoinMarketCap with a market capitalization of over $15billion according to Ripple website and at the time of making this post (19/15/19), it is valued at $0.37 and has a total supply of a little over 99billion. Some unique features of Ripple include:
- Provides peer-to-peer payment options
- Seamless and fast global transfer of funds
- Interoperability with other networks
2. TRON (TRX)
Tron (TRX) is the second cryptocurrency to be listed by Trade.io. The idea behind the creation of Tron is to provide a global operating system that is based on blockchain technology thereby decentralizing the internet. The brain behind this project is Justin Sun who is well known in the crypto space. Tron has also been known to handle large volumes of transaction in seconds. According to Tron website, a total of 2000 transactions are performed in Tron network in one second. Here's the graph of Tron's transaction per second in comparison to BTC and ETH (note: "TPS" stands for transactions per second).
Tron is currently ranked in 11th position on CoinMarketCap and it's trading at an average price of $0.026 at the time of making this post (19/05/19). Tron's 24hours market volume at the time of making this post is a little over $890million and it has a market cap of about $2.5billion ref.
3. IOTA (MIOTA)
With the introduction of internet of things (IoT) that has been seen to connect our internet-enabled devices to a central hub, IOTA has leveraged on this technology to provide a protocol that will enable transactions between IoT devices. The algorithm used by IOTA is such that will allow users to independently validate their transactions before such validations are effected - this algorithm is known as "Tangle".
IOTA is currently occupying the 15th position on CoinMarketCap at the time of making this post and it is trading at $0.39 with a total supply of a little above 2.7billion. It has a market cap of $1billion and a 24hour volume trade of $17million.
4. SNOWGEM (XSG)
SnowGem (XSG))) is another coin to be listed by Trade.io. This coin is among the top projects that offer the ownership of cryptocurrency full node (or masternode) - this is based on zhash. SnowGem has its own dedicated wallet's user interface which supports multi-digital currency. Among the unique features of SnowGem is the fact that it has a mining tool for digital currencies. Transactions in SnowGem network are super fast and all transactions employ encryption protocols to shield the identity of the parties involved.
SnowGem has a market cap (according to CMC) of $1million and occupies the rank of 865 at the time of making this post.
