The Happy Steem Trader episode #19 .. Why does the price of steem jump around? Let's go over some market basics

in trading •  8 years ago  (edited)

Let's discuss some basics about market movement...What moves prices in the stockmarket or currency/cryptocurrency markets?

The market is like an online auction. You have bidders who want to buy and you have askers/sellers who want to sell. They all list there intentions on an exchange and when ever a seller and bidder agree on a price then there is a transaction and that's what makes the price move. That is a very basic definition of price action, but I'll explain it in more detail in the video below.

After you get used to how the crowds buy and sell things, it becomes very easy to spot the extreme prices. When the crowd shoots the price a little too high or a little too low. Those are the sweet spots where you want to participate. Those are the deals in the market where you can make a killing. If you think trading is difficult or risky, than your doing it wrong.

Everyday is a great day for The Happy Steem Trader. Come join me, watch my videos, I will take all the mystery out of the markets for you and you can have a great day every day trading, just like me.

Nice post , keep up the good work.

It says the videos are unavailable? What's wrong?

I keep thanking you for your content, but I'll do it again...thank you! I day traded heavily through college (2008-2012) and had a lot of success. Then I went traveling for several years, living off my gains, and have never picked it back up again.

In retrospect, I'm not sure if I was a great day-trader or just traded in a generally up market. Your videos have helped motivate me to get back in the game and I've learned a lot from your strategy(ies) too.

Well, thank you, I'm glad I could help. I'm determined to keep making these. There's plenty of trades out there for everyone. I'm sure you'll get right back in the swing of it in short order :)

I think I have enough knowledge to start playing with this. I will start with 10 bucks. the only thing I will focus on is understanding the rise and fall and where to buy and sell. The more videos I watch from you the more I realize that this stuff is not hard. I only neede the right instructor. thank ya man
