We are having holidays today and tomorrow. It's Dragon Boat Festival. I spent a half day setting up my new blog. This is a blog about forex trading. I started to take it seriously.
The blog is written in Chinese. I will write down everything I am learning and thinking and doing about forex trading. After two and a half years of learning, still not able to be categorized as a profitable trader, I've developed a firm stance to the trading business. First, I don't think that trading robot or algo-trading are working for me. Second, I don't believe that there is a holy-grail or any "profit-guarantee" system. What I believe is developing my very own trading system, and being disciplined to follow that system.
This type of writing is critical to me at this stage. All those trading journals ( #ygernforex ) I am sharing here played the same role. They prevent me from cheating myself. This is so crucial when we are talking about trading psychology. Maybe I have only one reader, or 100 readers, or none, it does not matter. The important point is: once I confess what I am thinking or doing here, then all these things are no longer exist merely in my mind. I have no more excuse to run away from my trading system. Do I entry only when a real entry signal exist? Am I over-trading? Do I exit not according to any logic reason but due to my fear or greed? etc.
No more self-deception!
I believe that success in trading comes from honesty.
