We are setting up a lot of kids to have a lot of pain down the road.

Michael Knowles did a podcast recently with a woman who transitioned to being a man in high school and then dropped the whole thing after a few years and went back to female. It's worth a listen for anyone.

Not only was it interesting listening to her story, but the things she said about the trans culture was eye-opening as well. There was a lot of manipulation of vulnerable people to start being trans, it was ridiculously easy for her to get massive doses of testosterone, and a ton of pressure to never speak out about any problems. She said lots of people have regret but will not say a word.

She was especially critical of the medical community for allowing her to walk into a clinic, fill out some paperwork and walk out with drugs that caused a lot of physical and psychological problems.

It's the kind of story that I would think would be on mainstream TV etc but it never is. At least I haven't seen it.

I have a homosexual child and some of what she was talking about rings very true. The 'social capital' that kids, mostly girls, obtain from coming out...the difficulty of adolescence (which we all went through to some degree) being a big factor...the struggles later.

Here's a current Twitter thread with countless tales from women who were boyish to some degree and went on to live happy lives as women.

Very fair to wonder what will happen to girls like this today.
