Adventure in Mauritius - Day05 (11 HQ Photos and a Timelapse Video of a Mauritius Sunset)

Hello steemians,

I'll start my blog with the nice sunset at the evening of travel day 05 in Mauritius, a beautiful island about 1000 km east of Madagaskar:

This is day 05 of our beautiful trip to Mauritius. Today we realized a little snorkeling trip by a boat to 300m in front of the famous mauritian mountain, the Le Morne Brabant.

A lot of activities like go kite surfing, drive a motorboat, diving and snorkeling, stand up paddeling are possible if you need a break from sunbathing. :)

In the morning hours we went to the boat rental, where the "captain" was already waiting for his participants of the early snorkeling trip.

Am heutigen 5. Tag unserer Mauritius Reise stand ein kleiner Schnorcheltrip etwas abseits unseres Hotels auf dem Programm. Dieser war in der Hotelleistung inbegriffen und lockte auch 3 weitere Pärchen mit auf das Boot ;-).

After about 10 minutes and not more than 2km away from our well placed hotel, the captain stopped the engine and we jumped into the warm, clear water of the calm sea.

Some moments after diving "into the blue". Fastly, my focus switched from the natural background of some in the water swinging water plants to a little sea dweller.

Because suddenly I found my first animal model. A very interested gill breather was watching me, seems to have a great model career in future :-).

Neben den im Wasser hin und her schaukelnden Wasserpflanzen gab es auch einige sehr zahme Fische (wie z.B. dieser "unausgefahrene" Kugelfisch -siehe unten) zu bestaunen:

A little unagitated angelfish was searching for some feed, ignoring me and the world around, completely.

The time was flying away, after 1 or 2 hours the snorkling trip was way to fast over :-(

While we spend our time for the rest of the day lying at the beach and catching some sunbeams, we specified our plans to explore the inner island with the seven colored earth for some of the next days.

Nachdem der Schnorchelausflug viel zu schnell zuende ging und wir nach ca. 2 Stunden wieder im Hotel eintrafen, genossen wir unser Mittagessen und verbrachten den Nachmittag am Strand. Hier planten wir unseren bald startenden Ausflug zur 7-farbigen Erde und weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten im Inneren der Trauminsel.

Soon the sun goes down, like you can see in my timelapse video at the beginning of my blog, the stars take over the sky and made us dreaming of the next exciting days in Mauritius.
