It's a pleasure to visit the greek islands and experience the special life style and also the difficulties of that spectacular place on earth. The tight island just allows about 20.000 people to live here permanently. Felt just as many tourists are also visiting the island for their holidays, especially the little town in the north, called "Oia" is a magnet for tourism.
Es war mir ein Vergnügen diese spezielle Inselformation besucht haben zu dürfen. Mit nur knapp 20.000 Einwohnern bietet die Insel nicht vielen Einheimischen Platz. Gefühlt noch einmal soviele Touristen tummeln sich tagtäglich auf dem griechischen Boden und genießen ihren Urlaub.

I'd love to visit Santorini, but it does sound like it's a bit crowded with tourists. Maybe in an off peak season we will! The water has a beautiful colour.
