An Antonov transport plane crashed Saturday morning, about 100 meters west of Kinshasa, killing dozens of passengers.
The plane crashed in the Nsilah area, part of Kinshasa, about 100 meters from the center of the Congolese capital.
A municipal source told AFP on condition of anonymity that there was no "survivor".
A source in the army command said the plane, which was headed by a Russian pilot, carried "two vehicles and equipment" as well as accompanying military personnel.
According to the same source, there were "between 20 and 30 employees" on board the plane, which took off from the airport Ndolo in the center of the capital.
