My Opinion Concerning the TSA

in travel •  6 years ago  (edited)

The Transportation "Security" Administration (TSA) uses workers on the Federal payroll; it is unconstitutional. The Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution prohibits unreasonable search and seizures, meaning, with a Search Warrant issued by a Judge upon presentation of Probable Cause.

Some deceived citizens consented to these searches out of concern for airline travel safety, but it isn't Constitutional. We are not secure, but we are fast hemorrhaging individual rights. It turns out Benjamin Franklin was right after all.

Having the security searches be privatized is less coercive, more efficient, and constitutional. Additionally, I propose that special flights should cater to customers who choose to exercise their second amendment rights while air traveling.
