If you ever find yourself downtown Budapest, on a sunny and hot summer day and the kids needs to cool down, then, as Martin discovered, the fountains in Szabadság tér (Liberty Square) is a great place.
Even if you don’t want to run in the fountains, the square is lovely place, surrounded by a mix of business and residential buildings.
Looks lovely and a lot of fun :)

Yes, thank you. It is a lovely place. Budapest is great. We were there in may/june for 6 weeks. Sun every day. Some heavy rainfall, mostly in the evening/night. Over 30°C in the shade every day. Some times close to 40°C
You should go there. At least you’ll get out of the rain ;)

I am desperate for a holiday but with being disabled and not being able to walk far its impossible at the minute, but I can dream :)
