Travel To Sagada Using Steemit Money (Lumiang and Sumaguing Cave)

in travel •  7 years ago  (edited)

As i promised i am going to share you our travel in SAGADA after Almost 13 hours travel from South to North (Sagada) we finaly got into the Sumaguing Cave this will be our first destination.

Where is SAGADA
Sagada is in the north part of the philippines which close to baguio The summer capital of the philippines because of it's cold weather.
Sagada also has this cold weather and beautiful mountains. Sagada is blessed with stunning limestone caves filled with millennia worth of history There's a lot of activity you can do in Sagada such as caving, (which what we did lastnight) trekking, swimming, food trip, camping and all of the foods here are Organic awesome right?
Last night when we were on our way to sagada it was raining so ow it's not only super cold but also we witness a landslide. That was my first time seeing rocks and land falling from the mountain. We travel almost 13 hours and trap in the middle of the mountain like for 4 hours because of the landslide.

Sumaging Cave
After eating lunch we took a lil bit rest and warm up for our first activity which is caving. There are two option first normal cavingsecond option is cave connection Sumaging cave is 275 kilometers long, we walk inside the cave for like 4 hours nonstop. We did the Connecting cave which is you will go inside of the Lumiang cave and exit to another cave which is Sumiang so it's two connected cave (I think Sumaging is the mixed name of the cave)

What to expect? Well, if you have fear of height, afraid in the dark or water you can't survive here.
We literaly walk, swim, climb, slide, spelunking etc.
There are parts of the cave that you have to go inside of the super tiny hole, or you have to slide down and end up in a super cold water, super cold like you can see your body creating smoke.

The water inside the cave is so clear, and cold. There's also bats but not that much there.are times that you have to embarce the rock just to not to fall because your gonna die. Yes! You're gonna just one wrong step.

The caving was so tiring, i feel like i used all of my energy inside of the cave, i feel like dying. But it's worth it! If you ever gonna visit the philippines you should consider going to SAGADA Sumaguing cave is so beautiful and clean there's a lot of white flow stones, stalagmites and stalactites.
it was so tiring but worth it.

Here are the proof:
