Masjid Quba is the first mosque built in Islamic historical civilization on 8 Rabiul Awal 1 Hijriah. The mosque is located outside the city of Madinah (Medina) precisely about 5 kilometers southeast of Madinah. The current Quba mosque is different from the Quba mosque at the time of Rasulullah SAW, the Quba mosque which currently stands is a mosque that has been renovated and expanded during the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This renovation and expansion cost 90 million riyals with a capacity of up to 20,000 pilgrims. Renovation was done in 1986. image
