Snowdonia National Park, Wales the lazy way up (mountain railway) What A Lovely Place!!!

we had planned a short weekend away to North Wales and due to the constraints of time and lack of driving, decided to take the Snowdon Mountain rail up Wales's highest peak. We luckily got some clear weather at the top and some spectacular views of the Snowdon national park. However, I quite like this image taken from the train as it showcase the trail, the hikers, a lake and an interesting mountain face.
If you live in Britain (or are visiting), I highly recommend a weekend in North Wales. Bangor is a nice base for non-drivers as it is connected by rail to Birmingham & London and has a bus connection to Llanberis (the gateway to Snowdon). The local Penhryn castle is also well worth a visit for lover of lavish interiors.

Edit: Facts about British peaks updated, I feel especially stupid as I've climbed a few munroes.
