Mysore palace is one of the most famous tourist attraction in India. This palace situates in the southern state Karnataka. This is a historical place and royal residence of Wadiyar Kings of Mysure. The construction of the palace was completed in 1912 by King Maharaja Krishnaraja Wodiyar after the destruction of the old wooden palace by fire in 1896. The building cost is assessed around $4 billion.
There occurred another expansion on the palace during the region of Jayachamarajendra Wadiyar.
The architecture is really a wonderful blend of Hindu, Mughal, Rajput and Gothic styles.
This place is really a wonderful historical monument which worth visited at least once in a lifetime.
