I'll try to describe some of the effects. There was some dizziness, some loss of balance. I didn't really experience euphoria, but I think @battleayzee's wife did, as she seemed pretty happy about the whole thing. There were the milder visual/sensory effects, seeing and having the feeling of beings surrounding us in the desert. Then the more intense effects of talking to aliens, like I described in this video.
I don't really know what drugs to compare it to. The dizziness and loss of balance was similar to alcohol at points. @battleayzee probably has some other ideas of how to describe it.

Hi Clalaber24p, Firstly the peyote wasn't very easy to eat, so it was a long process. We might have eaten 3-4 over a couple of hours. Consuming 5 peyote buttons made me feel drunk, walking in straight lines was a challenge. After a few more hours, we may have reached 10 peyotes - it was night and there was some serious auditory and visual hallucinations (moving and morphing shadows, hearing steps all around, at times stars danced and become lasers ). The active drug here is mescaline, I would compare the hallucinations to a low dose of acid. However, the mescaline and the environment gives you a loving and connected feeling.
