Of my love for the mountain

in travel •  7 years ago

Sometime ago I discovered that the mountain was my great ally, my cure and relief for everything that was tormenting me at that moment, I found that peace I longed for, and I realized it and little by little I was making it part of me, So much so that today I feel it as an extension of my body.

It was a time where my worst enemy were my thoughts, where depression was a way of being, where anxiety would not let me live and enjoy, and the mountain taught me in every step I took, to leave all those thoughts aside Of the way, and continue to enjoy the present moment, just let positive thoughts enter my mind that will fuel my desire to move forward.

This love of the mountain was growing so much that it became a true passion, perform some courses to specialize me in abseiling, first aid, guidance and survival in this way to be a specialized mountain guide, and to be able to transmit all that love in the More pure essence to those who began in these activities.

Every time I go up to the mountain I am doing a real meditation in motion, I am releasing thoughts until I reach the summit in total peace and harmony with the present moment and I am aware that I did not conquer the summit if not to myself as he said it: Edmund Hillary the first to have reached the highest peak in the world, Everest.

I am happier on a mountain than in a thousand shopping centers and in big cities with big towers. It is for me the mountain source of energy that gives me life and meaning, And I know that I am not the only one with this feeling, because there I have found the purest sincerity of the people with whom I have shared.
