Hello fellow Steemians!

Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 SBD!

Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Australia. I am also adding New Zealand to the same challenge as there were some concerns from other Steemians as to which continent NZ belongs to.

See the winner of the last week´s Australian Monday @vinceboisgard with the following entry:

Burning sunset over the Beagle Gulf, as every night the landscape turns into an incredible scenery of thousand colours. Darwin is a magical place for sunset sighting and every day the end of the day is just mind-blowing... I loved it!

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

Please see the winner of Asian Sunday and give him your support if you like his image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for him by upvoting his winner announcement post below:

@itchyfeetdonica Asian Sunday entry:

As a national symbol of Cambodia, Angkor Wat is the country’s prime attraction that draws a large number of visitors all year round. It's even printed on the national flag. Despite the crowds, watching sunrise over the towers is an unforgettable experience for me. Enjoy this beautiful scene right after the sunrise!

Outback River

Near Alice Springs this river is bringing life into the bleak Outback landscape. The river is surrounded by green trees, a rare sight in Outback Australia. I enjoyed the refreshing swim after driving through the Outback for several days!

Amazing shot. This is such a unique perspective

Thank you so much for your entry. Enjoy your day.

Dorrigo Nationalpark

We were hiking in the Dorrigo Nationalpark in new South Wales. At the end of the walk we went on that platform with a breathtaking view over the rainforest which is a part of the Gondwana-Rainforest and there was that big storming approaching us.

This was the amazing view I got to wake up to every morning while I was staying in a air bnb in Windwhistle New Zealand. The name was fitting as this place is super windy and the wind whistles through the trees. It is also very cold ☺

Heard the wind, moving through the trees! Ah what a cool place!

What an amazing view to wake up to. Absolutely stunning!

Such a nice view to wake up to every day :)

Diamond Lake, New Zealand

Because my wife @suitcasemama was very pregnant when we visited New Zealand, we were always on the lookout for shorter hikes. While near Wanaka, our trusty guidebook suggested we check out a 10-minute loop around Diamond Lake. Not rushing, we took our time and were rewarded by a very peaceful stroll around the lake, sharing the views with only some crickets and ducks.

What a great looking lake. Thank you for sharing.

Bank Peninsula and the South Pacific in New Zealand

Banks.png

Is New Zealand one of the most beautiful places on Earth? Of course! Here looking down from the heights of the Banks Peninsula we can see the South Pacific Ocean and a moody cloudy day. Do not like the weather here? Just wait a few minutes. Enjoy the view!

Original photo and text by @snowyknight that is also on my blog.

It sure stunning and is on my list of places to visit!

Awesome! You should when time permits!

From the top of Bunbury's light house I'm glad to share this wonderful sunrise and this beautiful view over the harbour and the bay. This was shot on my way back from Carnarvon where I failed to find a job as a virus affect the the farms and plantations.

Russell Falls, Tasmania Australia. Mount Field National Park.

Such a peaceful spot. Well worth to visit. A very easy 10 to 15 minutes walk from the visitors centre to the falls. You don't have to be superfit to get there. Beautiful forest around. Great place, loved it.

Thank you so much for your wonderful entry. Have a great day and keep on Steeming. Tomas

During this year's Vivid Sydney, Samsung had set up a light exhibition with purple light tunnels that people need to queue through. While I didnt go into the tunnel, it does look awesome from the outside, especially with the various laser shows going on at the top of the many buildings in the CBD.

That must have been quite a show to experience. Thank you for sharing.

On the way back from North Stradbroke Island. This was during my first weekend in Australia. Just spend one day there, what a day it was.
