The iconic Seattle space needle and skyline taken from the Kerry park in Seattle. This was taken at night time during a recent visit to Seattle. Vibrant and breathtaking skyline views make Kerry park a must visit for all travelers to the Seattle area.
Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.
Please see the winners of the previous contests of the week and give them your support if you like their images to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:

Hongkong 2015. Today I share with you a picture which I took a few years ago on my travel in Hongkong. Still to this day I haven't seen anything similar to this concrete jungle. It's crazy how many buildings growing out of the ground in this narrow area.

@nenio Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans entry:
This photo was taken during the sunset at the northern Chilean city of Antofagasta. Which is one of the main port of the copper exports of the country. You can see how the ships wait their turn to enter in the port. The sunsets at this city usually are nice.

The sun rise at the Okavango delta in Botswana was just amazing it was like the sky was on fire. We spent the night in a bush camp and this was an amazing sight to wake up too.

@itchyfeetdonica European Thursday entry:
Today I'm sharing a world of snow and mountains. This is at the ski resort Ischgl, in Austrian Alps. Except for skiing, there are hiking possibilities, mountain bike trails and adventure park water playground. The town is also known for its lively après-ski scene. Trails in the surrounding mountains lead to breathtaking Alpine lakes.

The Griffith Observatory is one of L.A.’s greatest cultural attractions, offering spectacular views from the Pacific Ocean to Downtown L.A with an excellent view of the Hollywood Sign. Known as Southern California’s gateway to the cosmos, visitors can look through telescopes, explore exhibits, see live shows in the planetarium or astronomy museum.

View of one of the pools of the Gran Cenote. Situated in the lush Yucatan jungle, just a few kilometers west of Tulum, Mexico, the Gran Cenote is a complex of several cenotes that are connected by little natural channels. The water in the cenotes is so crystal clear that you can see the abundant underwater wildlife here even without the snorkeling mask. However, you are recommended to bring your snorkeling gear because you can snorkel with turtles here.

Photo of the statues of the Korean War Memorial in Washington DC. This monument has many statues of soldiers with the combat gear used in that war. Since they are of natural size and the style of the sculptures, one can see that they are very realistic.

Visiting the Grand Canyon without meeting other people? Yes. that is possible! The north rim of the canyon isn't easy to access but the view at the Toroweap Overlook is totally worth the effort to go there.

This photo was taken on a very cold day at Athabasca Falls, Alberta January 1/18.In the summer this place is a fierce waterfall, but in the winter months you can actually climb down inside. In the background you can see Mount Kerkeslin. This is one of my favourite places in the world!

This is a picture of Canadian permafrost at Columbia Icefields in mid summer. This ice has been there since the last Ice Age. We were fortunate to get on one of 24 ever made in the world Terra Explorers outfitted to go over the crevasses you can see. We later got out and on to Athabasca glacier at a safer location.

The Superior Hiking trail is the best way to explore the diverse landscape of the North Shore, weaving through forests, rivers, and along the lake. The lowest point of the trail goes 602 feet above sea level and the highest point is 1,829 above sea level.

When you are tired to walk you have the option to rent a bike and see the city from another angle. I took this picture in Montreal, Canada during the fall last year and it was during a cold day!
