WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged and/or reported to @steemcleaners - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT

Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @tmayd:

Slate ulička, also know as Golden Lane, runs along a short stretch inside the wall of the Prague castle complex. Alchemists, castle guards, writers lived there once upon a time. Now it is a human zoo during the day, but wait until just before nightfall when when the shopkeepers go home, the street is empty, and the entrance is free. That is when the magic happens. You have these picturesque houses all to yourself, and the street becomes alive with the lore of centuries past and the fairy tales in your imagination.

Going down from Prague Castle and Paradise Gardens we stopped to take some pictures of Malá Strana. Behind the sculpture you can see St. Nicholas Bell Tower (Kostel svatého Mikuláše) a Baroque church from the 18th century.

What a wonderful entry with a beautiful image! A perfect for today´s edition:)..... Tomas

Thanks Tomas!

This classic view of Prague Castle and the Charles Bridge never disappoints. Some of the boats parked on the shore of Naplavka also serve as restaurants and pubs so you can enjoy this view while eating and drinking onboard :) Photo taken in summer 2015.

The Wrestling Titans or Fighting Giants, sculptures of at one of the main gates to the Prague Castle. This gate is known as the Giants’ Gate. Bellow the sculptures there are a couple of guards, there is a sort of ceremony whenever the change of guards takes place.

I made this photo of St. Vitus Cathedral on January 1, 2018. Christmas tree and St. Vitus Cathedral are very harmoniously complementary. The Christmas tree and a small Christmas market were located in the backyard of St. Vitus Cathedral.

I would like to add that Prague has some of the best christmas markets in the wold! Thank you for your entry. Tomas

I can not resist seeing a beautiful sky. The hand itself makes one photo after another. Especially great when on earth is just as beautiful. Juicy colors pleasing to the eye and improve mood.
And this is very important. At our country, at north now also have started to paint houses in bright orange colors)

visited the czech republic. my dreams. Incomplete if you do not visit the ballroom or a drunken building that became the icon of Prague, Czech. The location of the building is on the corner of the road across the river.and you can enjoy food and drinks on the top floor of the building while looking at the ships

The Prague metro will be visited by anyone who will come to Prague. But few visit one of the first stations that opened on May 9, 1974. The station is called Kačerov and lies on route C (red line). At the same time, it is one of the busiest stations. And taking pictures of it without people, it is very rare.

So close and yet so far…
The Basilica of Assumption of Our Lady at Strahov Monastery was off limits. Once I got over my disappointment (Mozart is said to have improvised on the organ and I would have liked to glance up at it), only surrender was left, and I decided to include the metal barrier in the photograph.
As it happens, I rather like the atmosphere of inaccessibility and yearning, the symbolism of standing in front of an object of desire that is within sight yet out of reach, and above all the reminder that not everything is for public consumption, and that certain spaces will remain sacred and accessible only to the initiates.

Hotel and TV transmitter Ještěd, from which there is a beautiful view on the city of Liberec, which is the metropolis of northern Bohemia.
The Ještěd mountain is 1012 meters above sea level.
The transmitter was built between 1966 and 1973 and is nearly 100 meters high. Its architect is Karel Hubáček

I don't know why but this picture for me is connected with Czech writer's (Karel Capek) novel "War with The Newts". This is on my way to Praděd mountain. This time I discovered how important is to have sunglasses in sunny winter day.

Český Krumlov.jpg

A photo of Český Krumlov, the most beautiful city in the Czech Republic, with pardon to Prague and the rest. Its medieval streets, a river that passes through the city and an immense castle adorn this city.

For today's post I have prepared a photo from the southern part of Bohemia. In the picture we can see the Švihov water castle. Švihov is built in Gothic style. The first mention of the castle dates from 1375. During the Hussite wars, it was besieged by the Hussite army.

View from the Charles Bridge on the Vltava river. The statue in the foreground depicts the fabled figure of the Czech history of the Knight Bruncvik. Yes, it is he who brought the lion from his expeditions. This lion then got into the Czech state emblem.

This photo is from a small city Humpolec in Vysočina region. On this picture is captured an evangelic church which is located near to Havlickovo square. It was built in 1758. This church has become cultural monument of the Czech Republic.

This is what Prague looks like from the top. I took this photo from the top of the Orloj tower - you can go all the way for great views of the Old Town Square. You can look in all directions and this is what you will also see.

It does look beautiful from everywhere:).... Thak you for sharing!

Beautifull contest dear I really like it more

Mikulov from a different angle. Picture was taken with my cell, the quality is not the best but I think it looks like some old photo :D Picture was taken from Turold (national reservoir). There are deep caves full of interesting stones and bats 😊 Those caves are not open the whole year, only on the season, but it is worth visiting. But only in case if you are not afraid of dark and you are not a claustrophobic.

Congrats. Delightfully colourful street with uneven paved street.

This is from my trip in Prague. A beautiful street with tram. One of my favorite in Czech Republic was got into a random tram and just enjoy by watching the city from the window..

very nice friends.

Great crypto currency post
I love it your every Post
Thanks for sharing......

Congrats @tmayd!

The small port of Santa Lucia Naples-Italy has retained all its charm, nestled between a rocky island and the jetty that connects it to the shore. It is home to yachts and a host of friendly bars. From the pier, one enjoys an admirable view of Mount Vesuvius and the western part of the Gulf. If, at nightfall, you move a little towards Piazza Vittoria, the view of the Vomero and the brilliant Pausilippo of all their storied buildings becomes magical.

Golden Lane is definitely on my to do list!
