WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged and/or reported to @steemcleaners - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT

Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all excited about the upcoming weekend! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @sili:

Mikulov, city of many beauties. This photo was taken from Kozí Hrádek (Goat Tower). Goat Tower is not open the whole year, only in the spring/summer (I mean the lookout tower is not open, you can still go to the Goat Hill), so if you are planning to visit Mikulov, you should go to the Goat Tower too. Goat Tower was built in 15th century. The main purpose of this tower was to improve the defense system of Mikulov.

I rewarded @sili winning entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit her blog and check out some of her other photos.

Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

View of the beautiful Grotta Fountain located in the Havlickovy Sady Park in Prague Vinohrady. Behind the fountain, you can see an artificially built cave that adds to the very special atmosphere of this little known place. I took this photo in summer 2016.

Rotunda of St. Martin at Vyšehrad, Prague. It is the oldest preserved Romanesque building in Prague. It was built in the second half of the 11th century under the rule of Prince Vratislav II.
The Rotunda was to be demolished many times. But St. Martin always protected his shrine ...

The other side of the Saint Hill that is not featured so often. I think it makes a great photo with the sun setting in the back. Behind this chaple you can find the rest place of a sculpture of Jesus Christ inside a little chaple/small church. It has been renovated lately to keep the memory going :)

Stunning image! Beautiful colors! Thank you so much for sharing with everyone. T.

Than you so much :)

View of Prague Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral from the Vltava embankment. The end of the summer of 2017, immediately after a little rain the sun came out and a good photo turned out.

For today's post I have prepared a photo of the city where my grandparents live. In the picture we can see Frýdlant City hall. In front of it is beautiful - a recently renovated square with a fountain. Frydlant is worth a visit because of the castle or the Wallenstein festival, which are held every two years.

happy weekend! Today I'm sharing a picture I took from the clock tower looking down back to the square. As you can see, the time when we chose to go up to the tower was not very busy so the crowds probably left as it was getting late in the afternoon. Its amazing what you can see up from the tower. When you do go up, remember to look around, up and down as you will be amazed at some of the stuff you can see.

Happy weekend to you as well! T.

View on Pražský hrad from Petrin Lookout Tower.

At this photo connected together one of the most important sights of Prague, they are Pražský hrad with St. Vitus Cathedral and Petrin Lookout Tower, the Prague brother of the Eiffel Tower where from was taken this photo. Exactly from here you can see In all it's glory and grandeur of St. Vitus Cathedral and Pražský hrad. Enjoy!

Some people say that the Zizkov Television Tower is, with the infamous sculptures of crawling babies, one of the creepiest buildings in Prague and I can only say it gets even creepier when you look at it through bare tree branches on a dark winter day. Somewhat spooky for sure but I still wouldnt call this unusual structure ugly, unlike some renonwed travel websites that keep naming the Zizkov Tower one of the ugliest buildings in the world.

This photo was taken last days of 2007, before entering the Prague Castle. It's one of the Wrestling Titans (Sousoší Souboj Titánů) that leads to the first courtyard of the Castle. I remember it was a very cold day in Prague and a little bit windy so we had to hurry up to go inside the castle. Before going inside I had the revelation: I had to take a picture where all the magnificence of the statue was seen. I think I succeeded!

Hluboká nad Vltavou is not only a picturesque "fairytale" castle, but also the nearby Ohrada hunting lodge on the front of which you are looking.

In the chateau there is a forestry museum and beside the chateau there is a well-known South Bohemian zoo.

Here is the base of Petrin Hill. I think the incandescent lamps are really beautiful. I didnt see this view the first time I walked down petrin because it was dark. Like pitch black, and slippery.

South Moravian region is famous for its vineyards. There is plenty of them. This picture captures Vinařství u Kapličky in Zaječí. Maybe you already know it from some famous Czech movies and series (Bobule, Bobule 2, Vinaři). You can enjoy good wine and food in there. And also visit disco called Retro.

Even Brno has its own skyscrapers and they are well known. They used to be tallest buildings in Brno, but then the AZ-Tower was built and got to the first place with its 111 meters. Nowadays they are in reconstruction. You can find a lot of offices inside (the most favorite is tax office, I believe :D). This photo captures an old building and new building. You can watch how the architecture is changing.

This is photo is the main square in a small Czech city called Litomysl, birthplace of Czech famous musician Bedrich Smetana. The square is full of such lovely houses, like from a fairy tale. Actually, there are many small Czech towns that have such beautiful houses.

What a beautiful little town Litomysl is! Glad to have it entered in the contest. Tomas

Night view of one of the most visited places in Prague, it looks very original due to the night that provides a mystery to the image that allows us to move mentally to the middle ages. In the taking of the two smaller towers of the Charles Bridge The upper right tower in its current form appeared in 1464. And the one that was built lower in the 12th century.
