"A good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent on arriving."

What is your opinion on this interesting quote, my fellow Steemians? Do you need to have everything perfectly planned and organized before heading out for a trip or are you more into this planless-wandering style of traveling ?

Let me know in the comments below, I am looking forward to your stories :)

Have a great start to the new week and Steem on!

@czechglobalhosts, Awesome travel quote introducing now. If I plan some travel vacation definitely arrange everything before travel. If not something can be miss out. Ex:- As my country If I arrange down south travel, I haven't plan to watch whales in ocean. But still my journey, I feel like I want to see whales on the sea. But without arranging before I can't go there coz we need to get pre-approval from coast guard department. So have plan better to enjoy our any travel vacations.

Some things really are crucial to plan ahead otherwise might not be doable.

Well Tomas, I do believe that Traveling is that wonderful therapy which reshapes the thoughts of the traveler and enables him/her to think in a very positive way about any thing. Travelling has nothing to do with the plans, this is a fact because planning can't provide happiness rather it's the sight that provides you glory of the Nature in a very poetic way ;)

I am sure you're gonna begin your weekend even more effectively Tomas :):)

Oh, I love that - Traveling is a wonderful therapy

Wow what an amazing post.Really loved it really motivating.Yes, a traveler
has no fixed plans and is not intent upon arriving. So, the beautyness of a place lure them to place where their destiny lies.People or travel find their destiny by their own love one.If you do not change direction, you may end up where you are heading. It is the entire experience of traveling that is to be enjoyed and capturing the moments. Thanks for sharing it with us. @czechglobalhosts

That is correct, the important thing is not the destination but the way, you have to enjoy the landscape and the experiences of each minute, that is what really enriches and that allows you to have anecdotes to tell. Each place is magical if you see it that way.

Oh absolutely, each place in magical in one way or the other.

I suppose this phrase refers to the adventure of a traveler. Without plans and maybe without a fixed direction, all without planning. I have always heard this phrase "The best of life is not planned, it just happens" and sometimes we check it when without planning we have an unexpected exit that becomes a great adventure. Currently I think this has been lost a bit with social networks and the internet, because when we want to know a place it is inevitable to look for information and the best safety and economic advice.

In my opinion we should have some planning before hand. I know things don't go well sometimes but planning is good thing. This way you already know what you are going to do next. Well whenever I am with my father, I have faced change of plan many times. So it happens depending on the situation.

Some things indeed have to be planned in advance....

When my wife and I start traveling once the kids graduate, this is going to be our theme. We are moving to Thailand and want to be able to travel and explore that side of the world whenever we feel like it.

I hope all your travel plans come to a fruition!

I tend to be a wanderer. I really like just to walk around a new city or town. I like to visit places where walking like this is possible. It's nice not to be in a car constantly. I have family that plan every detail but I'm not into that.

Good to hear that, we all have our own ways..... walking is definitely great, let's you explore everything on more personal level!

Ermm, this got me thinking.
What you do enjoy the most? The new places you're visiting or the trip, the road-feel. I looking forward to my destination but rarely the journey, maybe it has to do with my fact that my means of travel is not convenient and I've travelled the route severally.

Yes sir, I think everything is fully planned and organized before heading for a tour. It is very important

Hi, what's up?

My opinion is this:

"The best of life is not planned, simply ... it happens"

The best of life does not attend to plans or schedules, it happens on its own without the need to take the time.

There are times that I go out with my boyfriend one afternoon and we ask ourselves:

And if we go on a trip?
I say: Come on!
And in less than 2 hours we are already searching for the destination we want.
Everything arises by itself.

Of course, I do not leave aside the theory in this Universe that there is a kind of law of attraction where the own thought makes us reach our objectives; but nevertheless I go by my first belief, I consider myself lately an altruistic person.

yeah, many times i go out of home with out even planning to go somewhere, just randomly visited many places,
every travel was great!

Excellent reflection full of wisdom!
It is an encouragement to us (who are all travelers on the land, mere strangers who only last a fraction of a second!), To take life as it presents itself, without making any plans: because we can die well before - and that's often the case! - that our project is not realized.
"You do not know the day nor the hour!", Says the psalmist.)
The river of life flows between the banks of suffering and pleasure. There is no problem unless the mind refuses to sink with life, and remains nailed to the banks; what I mean "to flow with life" is acceptance.
Let's come what comes, and let go of what's going. Let us not desire, let us not be afraid, let us observe the present as it is, and when it happens, because we are not what happens, but the one to whom it happens. We are the ultimate potentiality whose all-embracing consciousness is manifestation and expression.

Hi @czechglobalhosts. I like to travel. I like when everything perfectly planned but to be honest im not a good planner😂. Always end up with unplanned travel but still i enjoy it.

Yeah true indeed! It's not matter of fact to make a plan for traveling. Recently I have gone my University program without planning. I wandered several places with my friends. It was really awesome.

thethey are wonderless trips without a plane

In my opinoin this phrase means that free traveler always can change his plans and point of destination. It there isn't tickets, ways and roads. He is always in the road. But if follow this phrase you'll never know meaning of one of your previously mentioned quote that: "No one realizes how beautiful it is to travel until he comes home and rests his head on his old, familiar pillow." So it is necessary to choose what do you need to feel by yourself!

In my opinion you should plan the first days the stay. Also find out the employment sites for tourism. Contact a resident through any social network for recommendations and suggestions. But it is important not to do everything to the letter, there are always problems or new opportunities.

I like this quote too! The real traveller is free to make his decisions and mold the plan accordingly. It all depends on the situation most of the time, which changes your schedule as well.
