Region III - Central Luzon
In this region you can see the wide extensive plains area which is richly fertilized by the rivers of Agno, Pampanga, and Angat. The rainy and summer season in this region is equal, they both last for 6 months each season.
The region is very much suitable for planting rice because it has a very good climate and fertile soil to cultivate.
The Central region or region III is called as the "jar of rice town" and "the rice granary of the Philippines" because the biggest supply of rice in the country is came from this region. And so are the known "Melting Pot" are also in this region the province of Tarlac. Some provinces are mountain ranges.
The region composes of the following provinces Aurora,.Bataan, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Bulacan and Zambales.
