Hi Steemians
This is Leshan Giant Buddha. Not far from the center, about 20 minutes by car. There are 2 ways to see the Giant Buddha. By boat where you can get close and take photos or walking. The river was dry that day and we couldn't go by boat. These photos are provided by my mother in law
There are stairs to climb and you go around the Buddha. It is one way direction. Took 4 hours for the whole walk and it was very crowded. Not recommended if you bring kids.
But you get really close and get nice photos of the Giant Buddha

The giant foot shows how big the Buddha is compared to people
That is the biggest statue I have ever seen. They should have made the walk down into a big slide it would have made it much more enjoyable.....

@djohan, Leshan Giant Buddha is a huge statue I've ever seen. Peoples can climb top via steps. That was great moment to your life. You captured amazing photography.

Wow! This is amazing! But those stairs really give me headache! I wouldn’t climb up and then down those stairs. But if there’s a giant slider for coming down, I would try it!!

What an amazing place, that would be something to behold in person. The size of the people next to the feet of the Buddha gives you an idea of the scale of this statue.
