Throughout Mysore, you can see many temples. Most of them resemble in their architecture. A tall wall at the front entrance always caught my eyes. They have an upper part with a bent metal structure too.
But, on the walls of these walls were the sculptures of people. Men, women and basically human figures. It is a nice carving too. All of them with perfection, even in not-so-famous temples.
The doubt is who are these people? Are they depiction of Gods and goddesses? Or simply human beings? If so, did we used to dress up like that in those times? Did we possess all those ornaments and stuff?!
And why are them on the walls? Was it because we gave importance to humans than the concept of God?
Hmm, too many doubts to be cleared, but I love these temple structures.
A me-story I would say! Still to be unveiled. Stories can't satisfy us yet.
