Death is what gives life meaning

What would you do if one day you woke up and you only had one month left to live? Where would you go? What would you see? What would you cross off your bucket list? How much living would you try to do in that one short month? Now what if one day you woke up and had 60 years ahead of you. What would you do? Why now that you have so much life ahead of you, you choose not to live and take that adventure. Why do we waste the most precious thing life has to offer TIME. Come with us as we head on a journey to make the last 60 years of are lives unforgettable never taking a single day for granted. Because there is no better time to do what you have always dreamed then now. What is the point of going through life having never truly lived.

My story begins as many great stories begin. I was sitting at a bar in Toronto having a beer with Josh. We had only known each other for a months time at that point, but in that short time had become really good friends. Josh had been traveling the world prior to me meeting him. We had actually meet at a conference in Orlando Florida. But that is a story for another time. So we are sitting at the bar talking about his travels. Of course I hadn't really traveled anywhere so was in aww of what he was doing. I kept saying how badly I wanted to do what he did. Josh's response was so simple but it just really changed something within me. All he said was "so why don't you just do it. Traveling is easy just buy the ticket and go." As the night went on that suck in my head and when we started talking about where he was going next. He told me he had just booked a flight to Bali he was going to stay there for 5 days. Right then and there I deiced I had to go. I went home that night and got a flight. Fly out day was 4 days later... It was drop everything and go there was no planning, no weighing the pros and cons. This trip was for me and there was no going back I didn't care what I had to deal with when I got back I was going. So I packed my bag and left. To say this trip was life changing would be an understatement. Everything I knew was up rooted, the way I viewed the world was completely different. All my priority had changed. The only thing I knew for certain was that I needed to keep traveling I couldn't just say in Toronto and watch my life go by. So I kept doing the one and only thing that made sense to me... I traveled, and boy did I do a lot of it over that one year I made my self a promise no more holding back and that lead to more then 30 flights, 1 train, 1 ferry, 13 countries and almost 4 month spent outside Toronto! Josh was right traveling is easy "just buy the ticket and go"

Travelers are different from the rest. We understand that there is a beautiful and inspiring world out there and we will never stop until we have seen it all! "In the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years." - Abraham Lincoln.
