Known for it's Victorian era heritage, Queenscliff is a former 1880's seaside resort. It now has a thriving tourist industry and is the final destination of the Searoad ferry from Sorrento.
The day begins be travelling from Rosebud to Sorrento via bus, it's super simple to use public transport in Victoria, you have a myki card which works for trams, trains and, buses, just touch on and off. Northern Ireland needs to step up it's game!
Queenscliff is located on the Bellarine Peninsula, which is easily seen across port phillip bay on the Mornington Peninsula which is where I had gotten the ferry across from Sorrento. * Cough * Journey in 4K below. * cough * , pictures too!
Queenscliff is a small town, once you depart the ferry you will quickly find the Vue Grande Hotel, which was built in 1883! On the other side of the street you have the Queenscliff Inn which is almost as old being built in 1902. Still maintaining the original Victorian style architecture that the town is known for.
Just look at that little house, there are many just like this dotted around the town! I would love a house like this, maybe a little bigger though... fuck it, having two houses is a sensible option right? (Give me money Steemit ;) )
I didn't get to see much in Queenscliff but it was still an enjoyable day out. I end my part of the story with a pretensious arty sunset at the beach. Hope you enjoyed!
You pictures are great! Just discovered you!
It's one of my biggest dream to go to Australia with the Working Holiday Visa, I'm gonna follow your adventures until it's not my time. :)
