Have you ever had a culture shock?

Before I started my adventure, I always tried to imagine the feeling of a culture shock. To be honest, I didn't manage it but believe me, I tried so hard. I've been to several European countries, but since I lived in one of them it wasn't a deep shock.
When I went to high school, my English teacher always asked us about culture shock. She expected that we can have a discussion about it, but it was just her illusion. As a result, we stayed in deep silence and hid behind each other, as the perfect habit of students.
I usually felt embarrassed because of the lack of experience I had at that time. So I gained some courage and went to Vietnam to see what's the culture shock really about.

Fear, excitement, stress, being lost, heavy breath.
How my emotion cocktail looked like.

Motorbikes, unknown bugs, millions of people, high humidity.
What I first saw and felt while walking on the streets.

Was it a good idea? YEEEEES, definitely.
I couldn't have chosen a better country.

How was your first culture shock? Tell me about it!
