Working legally in Peru:
Work visas tend to be valid for the duration of your contract.
There are 2 ways to obtain a work visa:
You can enter the country on a tourist visa so you can start looking for a job. Once you have found any job then you can apply for a work visa at the ‘Dirección General de Migraciones y Naturalización del Perú (DIGEMIN)’ in Lima.
The second option is, enter Peru with a business visa (which is valid for only ninety days) and once you have found a job you can apply for a work visa at the same place, DIGEMIN.
Requirements for a work visa:
Copy of your passport or your travel document
Filled Form F-007
A contract signed and approved by the company administrative authority, and authenticated by the Peruvian General Directorate of Immigration and Naturalization (DIGEMIN) or legalized by a notary.
Receipt of payment of the processing fee S/.107.50
Note: Any documents in a language other than Spanish will need to be translated by a certified translator. So you must have all the documents in Spanish not even in English or any other languages.
