If you can find a job, the average minimum wage in Mexico for a full-time worker is between 400-500 USD. You can pay for rent, food, and essentials with this amount of money. The locals know where to buy basic foods inexpensively. The big franchises are luxury - mainly for families that have multiple incomes or have good jobs (earning twice the minimum or more). @fcpway
