On Sunday the usual crew of photo enthusiasts embarked for a day trip over to Araluen Botanic gardens that lies on the outskirts of south east Perth. The crew consisted of Ben, Amanda, Adam, Peter, Kenny, Nat, Adrian, Raymond and myself. We all arrived at Araluen at appropriately 1pm in 3 separate cars. Ben drove his own car that carried Amanda, himself and myself; Raymond volunteered to carry Kenny, Nat and Adrian; whilst Peter brought Adam along in his car.
The day started off with the unpacking of the picnic foods which were made by both Amanda and Nat. Thanks girls the food and drinks were GREAT!!! After the feed and some social chit chat, we began our photo taking sessions around the garden. Unfortunately, today the shooting conditions were not all that great. The sky was far too clear, which consequently gives off very harsh and direct sunlight. Many of the pictures were battling high contrasty shadows and very strong direct light. Here are some of the images taken from the day.
