Isle of Man Waterfall
A the big family party last weekend, I was cornered by one of my sister-In-laws to commit to a date when we would go and visit them at their home in the Isle of Man.
I wasn't able to confirm a specific time but I promised that it would be this year. I still have no idea when! 😁
This photograph of this beautiful waterfall was taken whilst out walking during one of our previous trips. Remembering those walks is a motivating factor to get some dates in the diary.
In case you don't know . . . the Isle of Man is an island that is sandwiched between Great Britain and Ireland.
It is self-governing and has it's own parliament which just so happens to be the world’s oldest continuous parliament. It's called Tynwald and was was set up by the Vikings in 979 AD.
It covers an area of 220 sq miles and has a population of 84 and a half thousand.
It is probably most famous for the annual TT races, an international road racing event for motorcycles. But I love it for it's pretty seaside towns and valley walks.
