I must admit that the best trip was when I went to Spain and Portugal, incredible months, beautiful places, fabulous people and cultures totally different from the everyday that I usually know in Latin America. The first city to know was Madrid, which was where I resided in that wonderful trip.
Madrid is undoubtedly a very elegant, classic city, with a Herrerian architecture, with an unparalleled decorative nudity where the simplicity of the construction without any modern retouching is fully appreciated. I visited many beautiful places such as Puerta del Sol, Retiro Park, Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace of Madrid and many other fabulous places that will never be erased from my mind.
Followed by it, I visited a beautiful town called Segovia, located a couple of hours from Madrid, with an extraordinary aqueduct, with romantic architecture, wonderful views and a couple of places to sit and have a tea with a couple of tapas and just watch the magnificent view.
Besides knowing other towns such as La Mancha, and Toledo, I had the pleasure of going to Barcelona, Segovia and Salamanca, three totally different cities, in a predominantly cosmopolitan atmosphere you see youth and beautiful colors, in the other city you they breathe sensational flamenco tablaos, sounds that will make you get up from the seat and more than exquisite flavors and how to leave the last city, the university city of Madrid, with incredibly spectacular universities, churches and squares where you can try an incredible Pie de Limón ice cream.
This incredible journey will continue ...
