The day after Christmas, we drove two hours to Springfield, Missouri and visited the Wonders of Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium. It's been a busy few days and it was going to be nice to get away from all the hubbub.

We bought the membership so we can go back and bring friends and family if we want. Springfield is a regular visiting place for most of us so going again wouldn't be a big deal.

Car rides are boring though, so the Bear took a nap.

This is the first room you come to. It was packed with people. Every damn room was packed with people. It was frustrating and brought my anxiety to a peak. As we went on, the calmer the my kids were and the calmer the husband was...the calmer I became. I eventually was able to relax and enjoy the experience. Not in this room though. No. This room was cool but, everyone and their grandpa was stopped in here.

These photos are by myself using my Galaxy S5 smartphone and by my husband using his fancy camera whose name I cannot remember. Let's call her Penelope. Penelope takes great photos in my husband's hands. Honestly though, you can't tell which ones are which. At least I can't.

Anyway, that's what I've been doing. We visited this place and I've spent all day slowly editing the photos my husband and I took. I hope you liked these. This was about the only room there was any light in. The rest of the rooms were so dimly lit you couldn't get a decent photo of anything much. Stay tuned for more! Thanks for stopping by!

So is it worth the money? Everyone around here says it’s super expensive. Looks like the kiddos had an awesome time! Now as for being trapped in a tiny room with a bunch of tourists... yeah, I feel ya there. Anxiety attack defined.

They loved it. It was expensive. Like...around $40 per adult and $25 for children ages 4-11. Yeah. That's why we got the membership. It was only a little bit more and we can come back and bring guests. All in all, it was really neat, but the price was scary.

did you found any whales there ? They are on here on steemit 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yes! Indeed!
