I have to say it depends where you want to go in Paris too lol. Central Paris it is better to use train but in case you want to go in other cities or outside Paris like suburb then might be the flight.
Then in the train you don't have any restriction on luggage which is cool =)
I use to do it a lot when I was leaving in London and I use to juggle between the 2 haha

No i only use the train to Paris from London..the rest are flights. Very accessible.
Although there are restrictions with luggages when flying. I do use ryanair and easyjet, dunno what's gonna happen post brexit.
London to Paris via eurostar is the best still though. Got a list to go to in France..and fly.
