Taquile is an island on the Peruvian side of Lake Titicaca 45 km offshore from the city of Puno. About 2,200 people live on the island.
Taquileños are known for their fine handwoven textiles and clothing, which are regarded as among the highest-quality handicrafts in Peru.

I loved the food. They have a lot to see in Peru. Got to see a lot of stuff. 3 weeks went too fast. Got to see and hear stories of my wife's family and relatives. It's always good to have some insiders showing you around.
