Let’s travel back in time to 2012 - my senior year of high school. I attended Hmong American Peace Academy from 2006-2012. We were lucky enough to be able to travel to Puerto Rico in May 2012 for our senior trip. I was also fortunate enough to also go to New York and Washington D.C. in 8th grade, but that’s a whole new story.

We stayed at two beautiful hotels while we were there.

It was a long time ago, so I pretty much forgot the names and places of where we went, but here are a few glimpse of my time there.

These were the amazing people that I went with.

We drove up the mountains, that had narrow roads, and no rails to this village where they served up roast pork!

Took this ferry for an hour to a beautiful island. I regretted not taking enough pictures.

Our tour guide told us the story of when pirates existed, and where they people who lived there at the time use barricades and other things to protect themselves from those pirates.

We climbed so many stairs to reach this point.

Took a wonderful tour of this place, saw many birds, turtles and squirrels. No bears though, hahaha.
