The Maheshwaram sanctuary is situated at a separation of around 50 Kilometers from Secunderabad. The blessed place of worship falls while in transit to the sacred town Srisailam from Hyderabad. This famous Shiva sanctuary is accepted to be 350 years of age.
This sanctuary is based on the pushkarani which is known as Shiva Ganga. It has a major sacred shower with a couple of steps driving down under the water, and one can see sixteen little sanctums worked around the pushkarani. The little sanctuaries have little Shiva lingams in them. These lingas are shodasa lingas around fundamental Goddess.
Close to the sanctuary, one can see three fundamental trees at one place and a Ganesha icon in a little sanctum. As we go into a lobby we can discover a way prompting the primary sanctum and there are a couple of ventures to the side, which lead down to the pushkarani. This sanctuary is worked in two stories. Subsequent to taking a plunge in the blessed pushkarani, we at that point go into a corridor for the darshan of Goddess Sri Raja Rajeswari. Before her sanctuary we discover lion form.
