I was eagerly waiting for this summer to arrive. Why ? To see the most beautiful and amazing land on the earth which is BANFF. So, I and my friends decided to start our journey with Johnston Canyon. It is around 150km away from Calgary which takes approx takes 2hour to get there but usually, you can expect lots of traffic but gets better as soon as you get yourself out of the city. 
You would barely get parking in the parking area so it is preferable to park your car way back on the side of the road and walk to the canyons.
Johnston Canyon is composed of two falls; a) Lower Falls, b) Upper Falls
Lower Falls is about 1 km one way. It takes you 30 mins to reach there
Upper Falls is further 2.5kms and is more beautiful than lower falls.
You would find a true inner peace and relaxation here. Mother nature would take away your stress and in return, it will fill your soul with great pleasure.
Make sure when you go there you have plenty of water with you and nice hiking shoes (and of course snack) otherwise it is not going to be easy for you with an elevation gain of 120 meters.
