Snow Falls...It is that time again!

Time to hit the slopes!! With my last weeks in Switzerland in countdown I was supersiked that finally the weather brought us a window to hit the skislopes without being in a a total whiteout or being blown off the mountains as it has been the case for the last couple of weeks. Föhn (wind and high temperatures) and heavy snowfall didn't seem too friendly for some mountainering.

So yeah this weekend it is time to see how the skills are still doing. I dusted off all of my gear (which was stowed away somewhere from March this year) and later on it is time to hit the 3/4 hour train ride to Zermatt (see, even in a small country as Switzerland the time of travelling is still super long) where hopefully the Matterhorn will be smiling in the sun tomorrow at us.

I am extremely curious on how rusty the technique is at the moment (more worried actually if I am honest) and also curious on how the general condition of the legs is doing (same amount of worry on that actually hahahahaha), because skiing in Zermatt is kind of a challenging area. It is extremely high with even skiing up to 3800 meters of altitude, and there is where the oxygen levels are really already noticable lower, so I hope I don't have to do too much of hiking there on that height ;) Also the level of difficulty on the slopes seems challenging enough to see how the technique status is.

Super siked to be in the snow again! With some fondue and friends it is going to be an awesome weekend. Peace out!
