Polkadot

The Polkadot ICO was very successful raising more than 160.000.000 USD. Parity.io is the developer of the parity client which is used to access the ethereum blockchain. The Parity Multisig-wallet (developed by Parity.io) had been hacked this year and around 40.000.000 USD have been stolen.
Many people did invest into the ICO and are worried so I decided to visit Polkadot to get some clarity. Fabian of Parity.io answered all of my questions and gave me a tour of the office.

If you followed the crypto news the last couple of days, you might have read that there was a new problem with the Multisig-Parity Wallet and this time funds in different ETH Wallets have been locked and can't be accessed anymore. Unfortunately Polkadot announced that they were affected by this problem. So hundreds of millions of USD have been locked and can't be accessed now.

We spoke a lot but the good news is that the Polkadot ICO funds were not fully stored in that parity wallet. They have enough funds to deliver the whole Polkadot Project and all contributors will receive their dots. I had invested a big amount myself so I was relieved to hear the good news.
