One such place is the national natural Park "Holy mountains", which is located in the Northern part of Donetsk region of Ukraine, in Slavic.
The vegetation of the national nature Park "Holy Mountains" is of great scientific value. On the area of 40,5 hectares grows half the species of plants that were ever found in the South-East of Ukraine, many of them listed in the Red book of Ukraine.
Of particular value are the unique chalk forests. As a unique corner of nature, Cretaceous mountains have long attracted the attention of scientists. Pine chalk differs from the Scots pine. Currently in Ukraine pine Cretaceous is preserved only in the Park "Holy Mountains" and reserve "Cretaceous flora".
A very interesting fauna of the Park is on the territory of "Holy mountains" live 256 kinds of animals. Is the weasel, polecat, American mink, forest and stone marten - ordinary people typical biotopes of the national Park. In the Park live several groups of wolves. Ungulates, or hoofed animals native to the region ROE deer and wild boar, taiga resident elk, which spread widely in the second half of the twentieth century, and acclimatized in the 60-ies of Primorye spotted deer.
