Traveling is easier then everyone makes it out to be.
Buy the ticket pack your bag, use your social skills and go. Maybe buy the first night to a hostel for your arrival. There are so many resources (check out skyscanner if you're US resident the points guy or secret flying is another good one) that make traveling very easy now that you really should travel. If you never left your country you are missing out on a lot of experiences that you could, should, change your perspective on life. You grow, live and do things a lot faster. You meet amazing people and become one yourself. Your story because more interesting. You learn other cultures and start to see your own culture in a different perspective. If you don’t know what you’re doing in your life, If it seems boring or you just want something new an different buy your ticket. When you don’t know what you want deep within your bones you say yes to the more adventures. When you know exactly what your doing and your driven to a purpose of greater good that wakes you up and makes you feel amazing you say no to new adventures and focus on purpose. Life is that simple sometimes you just make it more complicated and always settle for what’s comfortable too much. Everyone does it but if you feel the need to break out, buy the ticket you’ll start making the plan as you go and realise what’s really important to you as go. Travel is an amazing stimulate for growth. Things are not going to go perfect but that’s kind of the point. Life doesn’t go as you think it does, waking up to this and going with life instead of going against will save you some real strife. This pretty much has to happen when you travel and you should embrace it, understand it and grow from it. I don’t think you really traveled if everything that happened on your trip you planned and nothing more and nothing less. To do that you would have stay in resort and never leave that comfort… Why would you want that? There’s no excitement there no growing, no life experience. A little of that is fine but not the whole time.
Sometimes you just go you just jump and go. can say oh well I want to go to Thailand and see chang mai, pai, koh tao, or wherever you else want to go, but you don’t have to book all that before you go. Especially a heavy tourist trafficked country like that you can wing it when you get there and probably end up saving more money and have a much better time. You can meet up with people at the hostels you stay at and join with them. I went to Thailand I wanted to see Bangkok, Chang mai, Pai, Koh tao, (get my advance scuba certification), and I made time and was open to more experiences. I met many interesting people and met some that wanted to do similar things to me and I just tagged along. Sometimes I led other times I just went with the flow. (If you like structure pair up with some German, Ze Germans will plan your whole day for you down to the last minute.) With this laid back approach to traveling to I got to experience Tonsai Beach which is one the coolest places I have ever been. I got to deep water solo, Rock climb, slack line, ingest some fun fungi, hang out in a bar with a net above the band. I jumped off cliffs, off rocks, into waterfalls. I swam in bioluminescent on the beach at midnight. I explored the palaces and temples of Bangkok. I sped around on a scooter down to the grand canyon park. Ate amazing street food. Jumped around on a slack line. Met some amazing people and saw some crazy things. I also partied pretty hard which is the only real time I think I had to worry about safety. Sure I lost some items a long the way, dealt with crazy buses and other things. I didn’t have a working phone through out the trip. (don’t really need it with wifi everywhere I used an ipod touch sparingly) I broke my laptop bag upon arrival. I had days where I needed to recoup and just chill out. I cut my hands up and feet a little. That’s life it’s supposed to be a little crazy and if some cuts scares you away you won’t ever see your true potential. Believe it or not there's first aid in every country. I've just begun my traveling and I plan on doing some more for a good while. I think that's enough ranting here's some photos.
Thank you for sharing your experiences amazing photos. That's what I did, once you do it the first time you want to do it again, there is too much to visit, see and experience.
