The Top 50 places I've been to: #9 Soča River In Slovenia

in travel •  7 years ago

Could this be the most beautiful river in the world? Maybe. Located in the north-western part of Slovenia on the edge of the Alps, the turquoise Soča River meanders through narrow ravines creating an absolutely spectacular landscape. You want to hike and explore every meter of this river. And what about jumping from the cliffs into icecold water? Amazing.

Wow, what a colorful river. The color reminds me of some lakes in the canadian rockies.

looks like a great invention of nature! is it close to a major city or do you have to plan a trip just to go there?

Curious about this too! Do you know the nearest town where you got these beautiful shots?

Wow it looks amazing. I am collecting all the good sights in order to plan a future trip. If you are interested in art and social innovation check my profile
