I take photographs of landscapes and cityscapes on my travels in order to let you guys travel with me and see amazing places through my lens. In the last entry, I took you to Vernazza, Italy. Mirissa Beach


Today it is finally time for a classic beach photo. Come and see the peaceful and quiet beach of Mirissa, Sri Lanka. Except for some crabs and a sea turtle, we were the only people at the beach.

    Nice picture, @mrwanderlust! I currently live in Hurghada, Egypt. The Red Sea coast is a great place to visit for its surreal beaches, snorkeling and diving opportunities, water sports, and day trips around Egypt.

          Whoa man, that is STUNNINGLY beautiful! My wife and I have traveled around SE Asia and there were some similar beaches. Sri Lanka is on our bucket list and this shot might just bump it up a few notches ;) Great work as usual!

            Thanks for your words! The beaches there were awesome, but I would recommend Sri Lanka for a lot more than that. The people, landscape, elephants, caves, highlands, incredible....
