Walking Beauty of Balikpapan Oil City - Menyusuri keindahan Kota Minyak Balikpapan

Today I re-open the old files to find the documents needed for my work. I unexpectedly get some old photographs when I first made a visit to Balikpapan city of East Kalimantan province. I remembered the story of getting the photo. today I want to remember back the streets "steal" in Balikpapan (steal here means I was walking down town Balikapapan in the middle of the agenda of the National Conference held here)

In Balikapapan are only two things that I do not like the air is quite hot (the island of Borneo across the Equator line) and the food is mostly sweet. Imagine not only the meatball sellers are sweet but the taste of the meatballs just keep sweet hehhe.) I was in the city of Balikpapan for a week, in the agenda was not there for pleasure and the streets. so I use the time there as much as possible to visit the attractions in Balikpapan. Here is actually a lot of tourism potential owned by the city as the City of Oil. Located on the east coast of Kalimantan presents the exoticism of the city with a beautiful panorama of the beach and sea. Beautiful sea view can be enjoyed from the fifth floor of one of the largest Mall here while enjoying an afternoon coffee.

I am sure everyone will agree if the airport said Sultan Aji International Airport Muhammad Sulaiman, Sepinggan, is one of the grandest International airports in Indonesia. Said my friend this airport feels in Doha Qatar hehe (I do not know hell never been there). The town of Balikpapan deserves Adipura. Along the main street of this town is very clean, oh yes one more. The behavior of people here in using the highway is very orderly (unlike in my area hehe).

City of Balikpapan in 2014 yesterday never donobatkan as the most comfortable habitable city in Indonesia based on Indonesia Most Livable City Index survey that was launched by Indonesian Expert Planner Association. So no wonder this city looks quite friendly and comfortable for migrants. One of the indicators is the availability of employment and the quality of education, recreation, and crime rates. Nothing wrong if the city is nicknamed the oil city. Because the availability of employment here is quite large with the potential of the oil of course. Do you know that the oil industry in Balikpapan has started since the Dutch era, since oil drilling was first done in Balikpapan bay on February 10, 1897. Now, the oil industry here is controlled by Pertamina and some foreign companies such as Unocal and Total. Pertamina complex is still in the middle of this city. Adjacent to Semayang harbor. The port is the pulse of the city behind the boat. In this harbor lined ship tankers as well as other large boats docked.

Also famous here is the old market. In this market a variety of souvenirs are sold. Beautiful souvenirs typical of Borneo also start from songket and Borneo cloth, for lovers of stone in this market you will be pampered with various types of eyes of Borneo stones.

Also in Balikpapan there are also existing beaches such as lamaru Beach, Kemala Beach, Manggar Beach and Klandasan Beach. At the time I came here in the afternoon, the visitors are not too crowded, the beach atmosphere is silent, the state of the beach and surrounding areas clean. From this shore we can see large ship boats going back and forth carrying coal for industrial use here.

Tak disangka-sangka saya mendapatkan beberapa foto lama pada saat dulu melakukan kunjungan ke kota Balikpapan propinsi Kalimantan Timur. saya teringat akan cerita mendapatkan foto tersebut. hari ini saya ingin mengenang kembali jalan-jalan “mencuri “di Balikpapan ( mencuri disini maksudnya adalah saya jalan-jalan menyusuri kota Balikapapan di tengah-tengah agenda Konfrensi Nasional yang di selenggarakan disini)}

^{Di Balikapapan hanya dua hal yang tidak saya sukai yaitu udaranya yang cukup panas ( pulau Kalimantan di lintasi garis Khatulistiwa) serta makanannya yang kebanyakan manis. Bayangkan bukan hanya penjual bakso saja yang manis tetapi rasa bakso saja tetap manis hehhe.) saya berada di kota Balikpapan selama seminggu, dalam agenda memang tidak ada untuk pelesiran dan jalan-jalan. makanya saya memamfaatkan waktu disana semaksimal mungkin untuk mengunjungi tempat-tempat wisata yang ada di Balikpapan. Di sini sebenarnya banyak sekali potensi pariwisata yang dimiliki oleh kota dengan sebutan Kota Minyak ini. Letaknya yang berada di pesisir timur Kalimantan menyajikan eksotisme kota dengan panorama indah pantai dan laut. Suguhan indah pemandangan laut pun dapat di nikmati dari lantai lima salah satu Mall terbesar disini sambil menikmati kopi yang sore.}

^{Saya yakin semua orang akan setuju jika di bilang bandara Bandara Internasional Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman, Sepinggan, adalah salah satu bandara Internasional termegah yang ada di Indonesia. Kata kawan saya bandara ini serasa di Doha Qatar hehe ( saya gak tau sih belum pernah kesana). Kota balikpapan memang patut mendapatkan Adipura. Sepanjang jalan utama di kota ini sangatlah bersih, oh ya satu lagi. Perilaku masyarakat disini dalam menggunakan jalan raya sangatlah tertib ( berbeda dengan di daerah saya hehe).}

^{Kota Balikpapan tahun 2014 kemaren pernah donobatkan sebagai kota paling nyaman layak huni di Indonesia berdasarkan survey Indonesia Most Livable City Index yang dilansir Ikatan Ahli Perencana Indonesia. Sehingga tidak heran kota ini terlihat cukup ramah dan nyaman bagi pendatang. Salah satu indikator penilannnya adalah ketersediaan lapangan pekerjaan serta kualitas pendidikan, rekreasi, dan tingkat kriminalitas. Tidak salah kalau Kota ini dijuluki kota minyak. Karena memang ketersedian lapangan kerja disini cukup besar dengan potensi minyaknya tentu saja. Taukah kalian bahwa Industri perminyakan di Balikpapan sudah dimulai sejak zaman Belanda, yaitu sejak pengeboran minyak pertama kali dilakukan di teluk Balikpapan pada tanggal 10 Februari 1897. Sekarang, industri minyak di sini dikuasai Pertamina dan beberapa perusahaan asing seperti Unocal dan Total. Komplek Pertamina persih di tengah-tengah kota ini. Berdekatan dengan pelabuhan Semayang. Pelabuhan inilah denyut nadi kota balikpapan. Di pelabuhan ini berjejer kapal kapal tanker serta kapa-kapal besar lainnya berlabuh.}

^{Selain itu yang terkenal disini adalah pasar lama. Di pasar ini beragam souvenir di jual. Souvenir cantik khas Kalimantan ada juga mulai dari songket dan kain Kalimantan, bagi pencinta batu di pasar ini kalian akan dimanjakan mata dengan beragam jenis batu-batu Kalimantan.}

^{Selain itu di Balikpapan ada juga wisata pantai yang ada seperti Pantai lamaru, Pantai Kemala, Pantai Manggar dan Pantai Klandasan. Pada saat saya datang kesini pada waktu sore hari , pengunjungnya tidak terlalu ramai, suasana pantainya hening, keadaan pantai dan sekitarnya bersih. Dari pinggir pantai ini kita bisa melihat kapal kapal besar hilir mudik membawa batu bara untuk keperluan industri disini.}

나는 공항 국제 공항 술탄 아지 무하마드 술라이 만, Sepinggan 국제 공항은 인도네시아에서 가장 웅대 중 하나 인 것을 특징으로하는 방법의 경우 모든 사람이 동의 할 것입니다. 내 친구는이 공항이 도하 카타르 헤 헤 (doha Qatar hehe)에서 느껴진다 고 말했습니다. 발릭 파판 (Balikpapan)의 마을에는 아디 푸라 (Adipura)가 있습니다. 이 마을의 메인 스트리트를 따라 매우 깨끗합니다. 오, 네. 고속도로를 이용하는 사람들의 행동은 매우 질서 정연합니다 (내 지역과는 달리).

또한 Balikpapan에는 lamaru Beach, Kemala Beach, Manggar Beach 및 Klandasan Beach와 같은 기존 해변이 있습니다. 오후에 이곳에 왔을 때, 방문객들은 너무 혼잡하지 않았습니다. 해변 분위기는 조용합니다. 해변과 주변 지역의 상태는 깨끗합니다. 이 해안에서 우리는 산업 용도의 석탄을 운반하는 앞뒤로가는 대형 배를 볼 수 있습니다.
